DEMOCRACY - NOW
Learning Objectives
Democracy – Now offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in Greek history, culture, and gastronomy.
They will explore ancient Athens, the birthplace of democracy, and visit sites associated with dictatorship and anarchy.
Engaging in direct exchanges with local people provides deeper insights into different societal perspectives.
Participants will be introduced to innovative methods for promoting active participation and engagement with democracy, as well as the core values of the European Union.
These methods are not only presented theoretically but also put into practice during the course.
The knowledge gained and experiences lived will be processed in both group and individual settings, supported by multimedia methods. This approach not only enhances reflective skills but also broadens personal perspectives and showcases participants’ competencies.
Methology and assessement
Our courses are characterized by a balanced mix of theoretical input, practical exercises, and experiential learning, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of democratic processes and intercultural communication.
Intercultural learning is particularly fostered through direct collaboration with local partners, schools, and the local population.
A key goal of the program is to offer participants the chance to engage with local teachers and students. This exchange not only facilitates knowledge sharing but also creates opportunities for future collaborations and sustainable networks.
Through regular reflections, ongoing feedback throughout the course, and a final evaluation, we ensure that the program continuously evolves. Our commitment to lifelong learning encourages us to constantly challenge ourselves and strive for continuous improvement.
We aim to meet the high standards set by Erasmus+ K1, providing participants with an outstanding and lasting learning experience.
